My Story.

I have always been fascinated by the hospitality sector and knew from a very young age that this was the career for me!

I loved the energy and excitement of busy hotels and watched with intrigue as this melting pot of people and cultures came together for a shared yet unique experience.

This passion and curiosity led me to study for a degree in Hotel & Catering Management at Oxford Brookes University which included a placement at a large, central London hotel. This year was invaluable in enabling me to experience every department. I chose to specialise in event management, combining my creativity and love of planning!

After graduation, I had the pleasure of working in the sales and event teams of many of the most prestigious hotels, exclusive use venues and visitor attractions throughout the UK including The Dorchester and The Royal Yacht Britannia. Each role provided me with a fresh perspective and opened up so many wonderful opportunities and experiences to travel, meet with and work alongside incredible individuals.

As an advocate for the industry, I am actively involved with a number of membership and charitable organisations. This includes SITE Global, the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence for which I held the position of President for the Scottish Chapter during 2018-2019. I also serve on the fundraising committee for HIT Scotland, Hospitality Industry Trust.

My personal and professional development has always been hugely important to me. A chance meeting with a client, who was a professional coach, opened up a whole new way of thinking and I saw a new direction in which to evolve my career.

This led me to study for diplomas in Personal Development and Business Coaching, achieving distinctions in both. My next step was to qualify as an NLP Practitioner, an applied psychology that acts as a highly effective ‘mindtool’ together with Mindfulness courses and workshops. With additional training from the coaching consultancy Tricres, with whom I am also a partner, so a new and exciting journey began!

By combining my in-depth industry knowledge with my coaching mindset, I offer business leaders, entrepreneurs, senior teams and individuals an opportunity to think differently, change behaviours and in doing so, achieve outstanding results for both themselves and their businesses.
